EPHESIANS 3:17–19
That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

The Risen Hope Kids ministry is dedicated to helping our children develop a personal relationship with Jesus by teaching a Bible-saturated curriculum, cultivating relationships, and equipping children with the skills to be life-long disciples of Jesus.

What is our desire Risen Hope Kids? That they would have a deep faith and deep love for the triune God. We pray for our kids to have the promise of Ephesians 3:17-19, so that as they grow older, they come to know the love of Christ that surpasses all knowledge. We want our kids to be filled with the fullness of God.

Here’s a breakdown of each age group we have at Risen Hope:

NURSERY

Caring kids leaders will tend to and engage infants ages 6-24 months, while parents enjoy corporate worship just down the hall. Parents can be paged via text should their infant need feeding or a diaper change. Although there’s no snack is provided in this class, there’s plenty of fun with age-appropriate toys.

PRESCHOOL

Preschoolers ages 2-5 begin class with an opportunity for self-directed play and coloring. This is followed by praise and worship alongside the Elementary kids just down the hall, and then a return to the class for a short, age-appropriate Bible lesson. The lesson is followed by snack and either a game or a craft , all of which reinforces and reviews the main themes of the Bible story.

ELEMENTARY

In Elementary, our K-5th grade kids will enjoy a combined worship time with the Preschool kids, followed by a Gospel-centered message as we work our way through the entire story of the Bible. Teachers will engage students in a tailored version of the New City Catechism through dramatic readings, re-enactments, and even short video clips. Following the lesson, students will have snack and either a game or craft to reinforce the main themes of the Bible story, with plenty of time to cultivate relationships with the leaders and other children.
