Five Nights of Prayer

David tells us in Psalm 34: I sought the LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.

David’s experience in this passage isn’t intended just for him. It’s true for everyone who belongs in God’s family. God answers those who seek him, he delivers us from all of our fears, and those who look to him will never be ashamed. As Christians, this is our inheritance, purchased by the precious blood of Jesus (Hebrews 4:16). The God of the universe hears his children when they pray to him and he promises to answer our prayers. In fact, 1st Peter tells us that he cares for us and desires to take on our burdens. In fact, we will always find God more eager to hear our prayers than we ever are to pray to him.

And this year has offered us many reasons to go to our Father in prayer. And so from October 19th to October 23rd (8pm – 11pm), Risen Hope will be holding five nights of prayer that can be joined in person or online through the Zoom information provided below. The goal of this time is very simple: We will bring our burdens and needs before our Father in heaven, and we will seek his favor and grace. To that end, we have provided a prayer guide (link) that will help us loosely structure our time together, but everyone is invited to join and bring to God whatever needs they have weighing on their hearts. Also feel free to send any prayer requests to which will be monitored throughout the duration of the prayer gatherings and we will lift them up.

We really hope that you’re able to participate. God bless, Risen Hope.
